This place is fantastic! The food is delicious. I've had about five or six different dishes here and they're always wonderful. And they're hot. Chai is delicious as well. I strongly recommend this place. The service is OK but it's worth it.

I was surprised to find great Indian food in Folsom. We arrived there just when the restaurant open so we were the first to access the buffet line. It consisted of a large selection of Northern Indian dishes, including butter chicken, tandoori chicken, palak paneer, aloo gobi, lamb curry, basmati rice, and kheer. There were a few more items but I can't remember what they were. The garlic naan is included and made fresh to order. The naan was amazing fresh. My favorites were the butter chicken and tandoori chicken. The tandoori had a nice char flavor and consisted of drumsticks and small thigh pieces. A few of us went 3 rounds through the buffet and were so stuffed! The mango lassi was freshly made and complemented the meal perfectly. The dining areas were well-spaced out with plenty of room between tables. They share a private parking lot with several other shops and restaurants so there's plenty of spaces available.

Very delicious food but $15 for dahl, really? All the prices were in this range or higher. They posted a notice about having to increase their prices. That said, the place is very clean with white linen tablecloths on each table. I arrived on a Sunday night and was happy to see it was open. Although I was the only one seated in the restaurant itself, it appeared that they were also filling to-go orders, many of which were from customers of East Indian descent. I consider that to be a good indication of their authenticity. The waiter that night was some kid who behaved as if I were a casual acquaintance and not a customer which put me off. I ordered the goat curry because it's not often that I see it on a menu and I like to try different flavors. The dish was spicy and I enjoyed it very much. The goat meat was cut into cubes and some of it was quite fatty which could've lent more flavor to the sauce. Little bones of the goat meat were part of the dish which made it interesting. I also ordered the mango yogurt drink with a sweetness that reduced the spicy heat. I ordered the spinach paneer which was made with small cubes of cheese. The Dahl dish was a bit bland but the yogurt and chutney sides helped. All of the dishes except for the Garlic naan and yogurt/chutney sauces, were served in lovely copper-like bowls. Overall this was a delightful culinary experience that came to about $80. I think it was a special treat for me to enjoy authentic East Indian food.

I used to go to Curry Club downtown almost 10 years ago when I worked for the state. The lunch buffet was my go to! I recently found out they didn't close forever and moved to Folsom. My husband has never been a big fan of Indian food but I'm pregnant and was craving Indian food and I really wanted to see if Curry Club was the same as it was when I used to go downtown. We came for dinner and everything we ate was just as delicious as I remembered! My husband also loved everything and wants to come back! The portions were generous and we had enough leftovers for another dinner. I'm so happy we finally found our go to Indian food Service was good, we got our own pitcher of water which meant we never ran out of water!

Stopped in for lunch and they had a nice Buffet for $20. Garlic naan was extra. The curries were delicious and had a little bit of heat which I love. It's rare to see a lunch buffet with lamb or goat curry. Normally they only serve the basics. They have an assortment of vegetarian and meat options. And a small salad bar. I tried the butter chicken which was juicy, tender, tandoori chicken was cooked well, juicy; and the goat curry was flavorful with good amount of heat. The Garlic Naan was fresh and hot. Everything tasted good. Definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. They are located next to Winco.

We went in on Saturday afternoon for lunch and we were seated immediately. There was only one other table beside us. We ordered chicken biryani (not spicy) and gobi pakora. The guy who took our order was very friendly and he could accommodate no spicy request for my kid. The food took some times to come out (around 20 mins) since it was prepared fresh (we could hear the sizzle from the kitchen). - chicken biryani (no spicy): delicious! The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly. The chicken pieces were tender & flavorful. My kid could enjoy it because it wasn't spicy at all. - aloo gobi: the spice was very bold and yum! The cauliflower & potatoes were soft and not mushy. It had a bit of heat which we (adult) loved it. Overall, the food were delicious. I docked a star since it was pretty pricey. But we will come back to try different menus.
